Another top fundraiser in the region was Andover Democrat Tram Nguyen, who’s seeking the 18th Essex House seat. Rep. James Lyons, the Andover Republican, is seeking re-election for that seat — which includes some of Tewksbury.
Nguyen dominated Lyons this fundraising period. She collected $115,270, and had a beginning balance of $14,208. The staff attorney at Greater Boston Legal Services spent $58,797, ending with $70,682. Her total liabilities is $1,000.
Lyons raised $49,041 this period, and had a beginning balance of $29,692. He spent $39,614, and finished with a balance of $39,119. Lyons reported zero in liabilities.
