Nguyen named vice chair of joint labor and workforce committee on Beacon Hill

State Rep. Tram Nguyen, D-Andover, is an attorney who has practice employment law. And now in her second term on Beacon Hill, she’s been appointed to serve as Vice-Chair of Joint Committee on Labor and Workforce Development, among other committee assignments.

That labor and workforce committee will be a major player in the year ahead, assigned with helping the state recover from the economic devastation left by the COVID-19 pandemic and producing legislation to protect workers.
