Tram T. Nguyen, Democratic Nominee for State Representative in the 18th Essex District has been recently endorsed by EMILY’s List, an organization that works to increase the number of Democratic female candidates in our elected offices.
“Tram T. Nguyen has been an advocate for domestic violence survivors, women, and families as a legal aid attorney, and is ready to take her skills to the state House,” said Geri Prado, senior director of state and local campaigns at EMILY’s List. “EMILY’s List is proud to endorse her.”
Tram is a supporter of survivors of domestic violence and a defender of reproductive rights. She believes that women should not have to argue over their bodily autonomy and, if elected, Tram hopes to bring about a more equal Massachusetts for all women.
“In office I will make it one of my priorities to end violence against women, fight for more comprehensive reproductive health care and for equal pay,” said Nguyen.
Tram has also been endorsed by former President Barack Obama, Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus, Planned Parenthood Massachusetts , NARAL, and Mass NOW.
