State Rep. Tram Nguyen, D-Andover won a second term representing the 18th Essex District Tuesday night.
Nguyen defeated her Republican challenger, Jeffrey Dufour of Tewksbury, with more than 62% of the vote as of 11 p.m. Tuesday, with more than 75% of precincts reporting.
"Campaigning in a pandemic was not easy, but my countless volunteers who gave me their time, their money, phone-banked, text-banked, and helped us devise a contactless signature collection process and made it work," Nguyen said after her victory.
