Freshman state Rep. Tram Nguyen, D-18th Essex, was recently presented with the Women’s Empowerment Award by the women’s group, Freedom North Shore.
The presentation took place at the Tewksbury Public Library.
In announcing the award, Bambi Snodgrass, president of Freedom North Shore, released the following statement:
Freedom North Shore, a small group of committed North Shore citizens working to ensure the health and well-being of women, children and families in Massachusetts, presented Representative Tram Nguyen with the FNS Women’s Empowerment Award in recognition of her unwavering support of women’s rights.
